'In Harmony'In Harmony singers

We are a friendly, inclusive group of 20 – 30 people who enjoy singing – especially the European heritage of sacred music.   Our members come from several local churches and from members of the community who have little or no church connections.  All are equally welcome.

We meet from late September to April, on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm in St Michael’s Church, Creech St Michael, specifically to rehearse for particular events so we don’t necessarily meet every week.

In the past 2 or 3 years we have sung Stainer’s Crucifixion, Vivaldi’s Gloria (with orchestral accompaniment) and Maunder’s Olivet to Calvary.  As well as St Michael’s Church we have sung in the parish churches of Stoke St Gregory and Thurloxton.

There is no audition and you don’t have to be able to read music.  If you enjoy, or would like to try, singing in a choir then please get in touch with our choir director, Peter Cox (01823 335653).  We would  particularly welcome men, and altos, and especially those with some experience of choral singing who would like to sing with us.
