Messy Church

Messy Church will be taking a break over the summer, join us again on 30th September.

Messy Church is a form of church for all ages. It is designed particularly to appeal to young families at a time and place that is better for them than traditional church. Here we usually meet monthly on a Saturday from 4pm to 6pm in the Creech Village Hall. We can come together to learn Christian things through creativity and eating and worshipping together. A typical time would start with a variety of crafts, games and prayer activities related to the theme for the day. This is followed by a short worship time and then a meal together.

Everyone is welcome but our activities are designed for families with pre – school and primary school aged children to do together. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

So come and ‘create, chill, chomp and celebrate!’

Messy News

We enjoyed a happy ‘through the roof’ time at the June messy Church with all the different activities from squeezing as many items as you could into a match box to actually being lowered on a stretcher through the roof of a house. We even ended the time throwing friend prayer aeroplanes into a parachute and eating jelly baby man on stretcher cake.

Messy Church is taking a break over the summer but don’t forget there is a Holiday Club at the Baptist Church.

The next Messy Church is on September 30th so make a note of the date now so that you don’t miss out on the fun!

Messy Church is run by members of the churches of Creech, Ruishton and Thornfalcon.
